Web Scraper and Web Macros FAQs

Please refer to the second post on the Velocity Scape Forums for the topic: Memory Leak

You can also try changing SQL Server's memory management as the WS user in this post recommends: http://forums.velocityscape.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=3302#3302

Note: We have not tried this method, it is a user's suggestion from the above forum post. It sounds good in theory though.

  • Install SQL Server Management Studio: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C243A5AE-4BD1-4E3D-94B8-5A0F62BF7796&displaylang=en
  • Connect to .\PROVIDUSSTD with windows authentication
  • Right-click .\PROVIDUSSTD -> Properties
  • Click memory on the left
  • Change the Maximum server memory to one quarter of your system's total memory
